I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

Sole charge of various sized FEI barns. Managment of a lesson program and farm with 15 horses. Trained many green horses. Competed up to 3rd level. I am patient, kind, and open minded with horses. I am also very organized, methodical, and pay attention to detail.
Dressage up to 4th level with classical technique including hacking out and jumping up to 4ft. Teaching. All aspects of world class horse care. Advanced ground work, positive reinforcement/operant conditioning, and behavioral modification.
I have been with horses my whole life paying close attention to detail both around the barn and in the saddle: specializing in world class horse care, classical training and good quality horsemanship. I enjoy re-training and training horses from the ground up. I used to groom for FEI riders, teach, and re-train problem horses. For one year on contract I managed a facility with 15 horses and a lesson program with over 30 students; adults and children. Horses are my greatest teachers.
High quality care and facility management. Equitation Science. Operant and Classical Conditioning techniques. Advanced ground work. Dressage up to 4th level. Starting young horses. Behavioral Modification. Holistic Medicine.
See above. Babies, re training problem horses, greenies, everything. Dressage/Equitation Science/Positive Reinforcement. My passion is Dressage but I cross train most horses in outside work (we love hills!), cavaletti, and jumping up to 4ยด3 if appropriate for the horse. I truly love horses and it shows through my kind but responsible handling and riding techniques.
Shown at 3rd level in a USDF schooling show and got a 60.15%. Next show, I got a 53% (eek!, showing is new to me). A few weeks later I took a young horse out for schooling and he did great!
