I am a 20 year USEF/USHJA professional with a long resume of training riders and horses from the most beginner local level to showing at the biggest A shows and taking clients to Florida and qualifying for indoors. I’ve done everything from breaking untouched 10 year old horses for pleasure to training winners of state medal finals and ribbon winners at USEF pony finals and Indoors. Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.

I currently work at an Arabian/Half-Arabian breeding farm in North Carolina. There I break and train horses for sale, am responsible for bandaging/first aid and general care of 35+ horses, and help with the daily chores in stable maintenance.
Prior to moving to NC, I worked at a Racehorse Breaking/Training barn/Boarding Barn in Puerto Rico for 4 years. There I was the barn manager and breaker/trainer. I also assisted in the Quarantine/Air Transportation company. I also helped re-train OTTBs and trained Warmbloods and Ponies for competition/sales/adoptions.
While in college, I interned at the Stud Farm program for two years. Duties involved care and maintenance of the horses, maintenance of the laboratory and inventory, teaching of specific tasks or subjects to students, supervisions during foalings and breedings, etc.

I ride mostly TBs (including OTTB), Warmbloods, Arabians, Ponies, and Paso Finos of all ages, sizes, and genders. I break and train a lot TBs for racing, and also re-train OTTBs, taking them to shows for adoption. I compete mostly in Show Jumping but have experience in Dressage, Eventing and Paso Fino as well.
I've competed for four years in Puerto Rico in show jumping (local and FEI) up to 1.10 m. I mostly rode green horses in 1.0 m.
In college, I rode in the Intercolliegate Horse Show Association for 2 years, qualifying for regionals in 2008. I also rode in the Intercolliegate Combined Training Association for 2 years. In 2009, I was on the LEC Stadium Competition team, and won the 1.0 m Prix De Ville. I have also competed in numerous dressage & combined training schooling shows.
