I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

I've worked directly with hundreds of horses across the US, spending the last 10 years working primarily with stallions, youngsters, & troubled animals. I'm a seasoned rider & highly effective trainer. I'm classically educated but my approach is multidisciplinary in nature & centers around what is best for the individual animal. Establishing his desire to interact & developing his attention span & capacity for cognitive learning is paramount. References & testimonials are available upon request.

I'm a well-rounded, somewhat unconventional horseman & lifelong practitioner of multidisciplinary, relationship-based horsemanship. I have a strong background in classical dressage & natural horsemanship, along with a broad range of experience in other disciplines. As a self-employed, working professional, I specialize in helping horses with psychological & behavioral issues & educating their people on how to communicate with them effectively. My horsemanship is based entirely on relaxation & communication. I believe there is no point in spending your life with horses if there is disconnect in these areas. I treat my practice as a way of life & refuse to sacrifice the horse's psychological well-being for the sake of quick fixes & rapid athletic progression.

I do not compete. I do not believe horses should be as tools for competitive aspirations. There is an overwelming amount of abuse in the industry of which many seem to be in complete denial. I have a great deal of authentic love & respect for these animals. Along with continuously developing myself as a trainer, I am looking to expand my client base & reach as a clinician & equine behaviorist so that I can become a stronger advocate of ethics & art in horsemanship.
