I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

You name it, I've done it.
Presently I love to focus on good, slow, horse training & development by utlizing proper, classical, in-hand and lunging techniques with precise and correct conditioning with the long-term goal to develop the horses back and body so that they use themselves properly, move well and remain sound.
Teaching: Specialize in position and development of rider/horse balance and rhythm.
Utilizing classical techniques, (influenced by many greats including: Ingrid/Reiner, Kyra Kyrklund, Mary Wanless, and Sally Swift) I challenge riders to check themselves continuously for accuracy of aids, position and breath.
Through example and visualization my riders become effective and happy with a solid line of communication to their horse so he remains "through", relaxed and moving his best.
I currently ride many horses used by a variety of people though not at the upper levels. I school them and help make them suitable for my students and riders.
I have my own horse and a sale prospect and I am schooling at 2nd and some 3rd level dressage maneuvers with both. I have personal riding goals to do some lower level adult eventing, (again) for fun and for the challenge as well as moving up the levels in my dressage riding/showing.
Successfully competed through high-school in medal/Maclay and H&J AAA circuit on Long Island, NY. Hampton Classic, more.
Eventing through Training Level Region 1.
Successfully showed through 2nd level dressage on several client horses that I developed. Neda Alpha Dressage shows in New England/Florida.
