I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
I have ridden many different kinds of horses since I was 5 years old. Most of my experience has come from being in 4-H and living on a farm for 9 years. I am well experienced in both the western and english disciplines. I have also worked as a trail guide in Washinton state. I've worked as an assistant trainer with Martin Cockriel Stables whereI learned how to ride the saddleseat discipline and how to drive horses. I also learned how to start and finish show horses there, as well.
I am currently an instructor at an equestrian center in Castle Rock. I have had the wonderful opportunity to learn more about dressage and how beneficial it is for both horse and rider.
My specialties include both Western (Pleasure and Games) and English (Huntseat, Saddleseat, and Dressage) riding. I have lots of show prep hours under my belt. I train all the horses I work with to be steady of mind and body. I believe that patience and respect gets better results, rather than using fear and a bigger bit.
I have not competed in any English competitions, but have won many ribbons in Western competitions.
