I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
My relationship with horses started when I was 10. I went to riding school and found a whole new world for myself. Since then I spent every free moment at the stable, where I took part of riding lessons 3-4 times a week and after that I volunteered to clean stable, walk with horses, help to saddle horses etc.In some point I made friends with one special horse who was very hazardous. She became my best friend and I spent a lot of time with her. I was almost only person who could handle her so a lot of times I had to help people with her. In my own way, I always had special relationship with horses- I like "difficult" horses, to bound with them, to ride with them and gain their trust. Last 7 years I havent been so lucky, I went horse riding occasionally. But last months at my home country I picked it up again and saw that my skills haven
t disappeared. My trainer asked me to attend advanced training group and I was very quick to evolve.
I have took part of little in-stable competitions and had great sucess, have several rosettes. I also took part of one bigger competition where I got 4th place. (most of them jumping but also dressage)
