I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.

I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
I grew up with horses. My parents raised stock horse horses... Appaloosas, Foundation Quarter Horses, and Paints. I had all kinds of animals including my own pony as soon as I could ride. I grew up in 4H and FFA. I had horse farm jobs at a Paso Fino Farm and a couple of dressage facilities during the years before getting married. I went on to have my own farm for 8 years and had ponies, horses, and a couple of donkeys. My daughter was raised her how to ride and involved in 4H and trail riding.
I teach English to clients online. I am trained as an Elementary Education English and Science teacher as well as having a degree in special education.
I had a life time of experience: Cleaning stalls, Providing and unloading hay, feed, rations or supplements, and water. Maintaining the barn and pasture areas. Grooming, saddling, unsaddling, and bathing horses. Hand walking and lunging horses. Turning horses into pasture or turnout. Basic vet tech first aid and I know what is wrong with a horse most times. Following instructions and directions from the trainer, farrier, veterinarian, or other equine care providers. Can drive a manual transmission and a 16 foot stock trailer as well as any tractor or manure spreader. Unpacking equipment at the show grounds, preparing the stall, and acclimating the horse(s) to the new surroundings.Loading and unloading horses from trailers and have trained horses who have problems. Trim a horse’s coat with clippers (face, legs, ears, entire body). Can do basic braids... with practice could do more. I like driving more than riding. I have LOTS of Non-Profit experience
Teaching beginners to ride, drive or general horsemanship. Specialneeds riders I have desensitized rescue horse with trauma backgrounds into being more trusting and sensible. Healing humans with horses and/or dogs and other animals. Knowledge of many breeds and disciplines. Farm Care- all parts of the farm and all the animals that live there. Ponies, Miniatures- Pony parties. Stock Horses. Mare care and Foaling. Vet Tech Knowledge. House and Farm Sitting. Child. Special Needs, & Elder Care
I would rather do groundwork or round pen work.
I can exercise ride sensible horses but would rather work with green horses on the ground. Trail riding is more than okay with a sensible horse to provide them with exercise.
I can train problem horses to load in a trailer.
I have desensitized rescue horse with trauma backgrounds into being more trusting and sensible.
My competition experience is limited to 4H & local fun shows. I am not a competitive person myself and would rather support those who are behind the scenes instead. I have attended many different major competitions as a spectator, but not a participant. I have been involved w/showing model horses for over 25 years. Model horses are a HUGE in educating a horse person about so much more things you than you can imagine! I know so much more and many famous horse people because of model about horses
