I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
I am a quick learner, and will try to my full potential when given opportunities. I'm good with green horses and love challenges. I have helped school horses before going into show rings with nervous riders numerous times. I am a tough and brave rider and will not say no to getting on any type of horse. I have my own car and drivers license.
I am a student as well as a rider. I exercise horses of all types from lesson horses to babies. I help with broodmares and foals. I also groom at shows when asked. Feed and water.
I have experiences in a lot of fields. I had a 3 year old that I trained, showed, and qualified for the marshall and sterling bit'o'straw, but sadly could not attend the finals due to money issues.I have competed up to 3'3'' and schooled up to 4'. I have helped with broodmares getting ultra-sounds and handeling foals. I school and exercise horses or ponies every opportunity I have. I've been riding since I was six years old and never had an "easy" horse. I have worked at horse camps as an assistant instructor. I help with farriers by holding horses. I groom at shows when asked.
I am definitely good at working with green horses. I LOVE the challenges, the feeling of accomplishment when they finally start to get what your asking and when you look how far they have came. It is totally worth the work and dedication to feel that way. I am a very clean person, So everything in the barn will always be kept neatly in place.
I love working with green horses. I am a versatile rider and can learn quickly. I prefer mostly jumpers however, I won't say no to any type of riding.
I have done all sorts of competitions from open shows to AA rated. I have shown at gardenstate, sussex, etc. I love showing in pretty much anything, but preferably in jumpers. :)
