Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.

Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
I am currently pursuing my Massachusetts Riding Instructor's License.
I assist the middle school English teacher at an alternative school. I help students with classwork, assist in lectures, answer phone calls, make copies of classwork, etc. I also co-teach a reading class for students with reading deficiencies.
I have been riding in the hunter/jumper/equitation disciplines since I was six years old, which culminates to nineteen years of consistent horse experience. I was a volunteer at UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center (Goffstown, NH) for all four years of college, where I volunteered one or more times per week. I have worked as a stable hand at both Winding Brook Farm Equestrian Center (Derry, NH) and Back Bay Farm (Ipswich, MA), where I mucked stalls, cleaned water buckets, distributed hay and feed, exercised horses, acted as a pony camp leader, performed basic equine first aid, and turned horses out/in. I have lengthy experience in horsemanship, equine care, and riding, and I continue to take lessons in hunters/equitation at Ascot Riding Center (Ipswich, MA). I am also currently pursuing my Massachusetts Horseback Riding Instructor's License. Horses have always been my biggest passion, and I hope to build a career from this passion.
Having worked as full-time stable hand, I know that there is always more work to do on any farm. I know what chores have to get done by what time, I know the best order in which to do chores, and I know that the health & safety of the horses is always the top priority. In addition to barn chores, I have helped bring along several green and young horses, and I have also brought horses slowly back from lameness and injuries.
I have over nineteen years of consistent training in the hunter/jumper and equitation disciplines, and I have jumped up to heights of 3'3" in my lessons. I also have a few years of polo experience at the intermediate level, and I have some basic dressage and western training as well. I have experience riding and working with green horses as well as bringing horses back from injuries slowly.
I competed in both local and barn shows when I was younger, mostly in the short stirrup/children's hunters and equitation divisions, with jumps up to 2'6". I have only competed in a few small barn shows since then, but I do hope to compete more someday, when I can afford to buy or lease a horse.
