I am a 20 year USEF/USHJA professional with a long resume of training riders and horses from the most beginner local level to showing at the biggest A shows and taking clients to Florida and qualifying for indoors. I’ve done everything from breaking untouched 10 year old horses for pleasure to training winners of state medal finals and ribbon winners at USEF pony finals and Indoors. Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.

Completed 1 year of Equine Business Management/Riding and Equine Studies Program at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI. Further developed skills in basic farm maintenance, horse grooming/bathing and handling, lunging, clipping, and tack-fitting. Competed on IHSA team in Novice classes and excelled in equine science courses. Helped prep barn, rings, tack and other equipment, and horses for IHSA and IDA home shows and clinics.
Managed 13-horse barn two mornings per week in 2016 and 6-horse barn in 2017. Duties included feeding (grain, supplements, hay), turning out/in, blanketing, cleaning stalls/waters, blowing down barn aisle, prepping pm feed.
Thirteen years’ experience riding (hunter/jumper, dressage, eventing) and completing barn chores/basic farm maintenance at Briggs Stable in Hanover, MA. Duties included feeding (grain, supplements, hay), turning out/in, blanketing, cleaning stalls and water buckets, sweeping barn aisles, grooming/bathing and exercising horses, cleaning tack, prepping horses for lessons, basic customer service. Monitored horses for injury, colic, and lameness and helped safely transport to clinics and shows throughout MA (included blanketing, booting, loading and unloading, monitoring horses on location, and prepping for classes). Limited experience with OTTBs. Helped prepare for hunter paces and summer shows by grooming trails/rings and horses and cleaning clubhouse.
