Started in the equine industry taking Hunter/Jumper lessons in college. I was also exposed to Foxhunting during this time. I am now the Equine Health Manager with my current employer and am responsible for approximately 140 horses between two farms. This includes their medical care, vaccinations, deworming, etc. I am also responsible for directing staff and volunteers throughout the day in order to complete our daily chores (feeding, mucking, farm maintenance). I am able to operate a skidloader but have fallen out of practice driving the tractors. I am also responsible for making emergency decisions concerning horse welfare and communicating with the vets and farriers. Certified TLAER.
Riding since 2012. Mainly Hunter/Jumper, no recognized events. Not currently in a consistent program.
