I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

Handle horses of many different ages, temperaments, and breeds for veterinarians to safely observe and work on, drive vet truck to appointments, give IM, IV, and oral medications as needed, look after horses staying in attached barn at the clinic
I have been riding hunter/jumper since I was five years old. I was on my school's equestrian team and competed in IHSA shows. After graduation, I became an equine veterinary technician. This job specifically exposed me to many different horses and clients. I also had the amazing opportunity to intern at Days End Farm Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation which sparked my passion for the rehabilitation process. During that summer I was in charge of 40+ horses which included foals, stallions, and donkeys. I worked hands on with horses that were emaciated and abused. Being able to see a horse go from quarantined to finding a forever home was an experience I will forever cherish.
