Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.

I have done general barn/groom work since July 2018, first working for Alex White, a Maryland racehorse/fox hunt trainer, where I started out doing primarily stall-cleaning, in the mornings. I then worked for Jazz Napravnik and Courtney Young, also Maryland racehorse/fox hunt trainers, from October 2018 - April 2019, daily in the mornings, and occasional evenings as needed. I worked with yearlings, 2-year-olds, and racehorses, hunter-jumpers. I have experience handling young stock, as well as stallions. In April 2019, I took a full-time position as a barn worker at Garrison Forest School, where I worked as part of a great team, caring for the show horses of the students. During this time, I also worked part time for Florence Germain at AOPF Stables, doing general barn work/horse care, for the various horses boarded there, and where I lived on premises from Dec 2018 - March 2021.

I am able to ride, and I rode occasionally and took lessons intermittently in my youth, and then as an adult from 2009-2013. I ride primarily hunt seat. I have never ridden competitively.
