I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
Tons of past job experience (see equine experience), great with children and horses of all types, not afraid to get my hands dirty, but also a solid hunt seat/equitation rider. I've held many equine jobs and love working with horses all day. I'm a very hard worker and am very willing to learn if given the opportunity.
This summer, I will be returning to run the International Riding Camp, where I hire and manage a 15 person staff, schedule up to 20 lessons a day and am the head trainer. I am looking for full time employment in September of 2019.
13 years of equestrian experience. I've done many equestrian jobs- teaching year round private riding lessons with students of all ages and some with disabilities, teaching group riding camp lessons (beginner through advanced (jumping up to 3’)), house sitting multiple horses, mucking stalls, feeding, turnout and schooling horses for young riders at horse shows. I've worked with ranges of horses from off the track Thoroughbreds to experienced show hunters. I've helped trained Western horses and OTTBs to do hunters. I was the Assistant Director at the International Riding Camp, managing the care of 49 horses and managing approximately 15 staff and 40 campers at a time. I scheduled and oversaw 20 lessons per day and taught the most advanced group of riders each session. I managed and was the head trainer for a hunter barn in a gated community in Florida. I ran a lesson program with 10 school horses, and managed their care.
Working with children, hunt seat, equitation, teaching lessons, working with all different types of horses
Mainly hunt seat, some dressage and a little western. I take hunt seat lessons, a combination of flat and fences. I'm open to learning other disciplines, especially dressage and eventing.
I've been competing in hunters and equitation for years, both on the flat and over fences. I've shown countless horses at schooling and rated shows in Connecticut. Most recently, I competed in the 3'3" hunter classes in Ohio.
