I am a 20 year USEF/USHJA professional with a long resume of training riders and horses from the most beginner local level to showing at the biggest A shows and taking clients to Florida and qualifying for indoors. I’ve done everything from breaking untouched 10 year old horses for pleasure to training winners of state medal finals and ribbon winners at USEF pony finals and Indoors. Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)

I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.

I started riding in the Eastern High Sierras as an assistant wrangler doing day rides for a packing outfit when I was 7. I showed in Western Pleasure, Showmanship, and Reining through 4-H until I graduated High school. I then spent two years working at Colorado Trails Ranch as first a wrangler and then an assistant head wrangler. November 2017- May 2018 was spent in New Zealand working for a Trekking Company as head wrangler. In NZ I also worked for the local hunt club conditioning horses as well as participating in a practice hunt. I have done a lot of work assisting both veterinarians as well as farriers along with riding young horses.
I have ridden mostly Western however in New Zealand I spent quite a bit of time in various styles of English saddles. I have done some jumping although have no formal training as well as participating in a hunt where I jumped several fences. I have done Reining, Roping, Cattle Work, Western Pleasure, and a lot of trail riding as well as some Western Dressage. I can drive a team of up to 4 horses and have no problem ponying a string of horses or mules.
My Competition experience comes from training and showing in 4-H from year 14 to year 18. As well as helping train Western Performance horses.
