I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.

currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
Over 15 years experience in riding the English discipline, over 10 years teaching riding, over 2 years of training horses and understanding the biomechanics of the horse alongside the rider's position. Clinics and riding studies done with top trainers in the area of Illinois and Missouri. Parelli ground work practices used on green horses to better develop rider and horse bonds.
I started riding when I was 6 in the English jumper discipline, started teaching young kids and running horse camp when I was 14. Fnally, when I was 22 I stepped into a barn manager role for a 120 acre horse farm where I lead group lessons, trained horses, and I also started and broke horses for the Humane Society of Missouri. I was fortunate to do this for 3 years. During that time I also traveled to Ireland for two weeks and trained alongside those practicing for the Tattersalls eventing competition.
I specialized in showing dressage, but have taught ages 4-65 all discipline techniques of riding.
I have ridden mostly English in the discipline of jumpers and dressage. I have also ridden and taught at an all discipline barn where reigning and dressage techniques were used as a basis to elevate a jumper career.
While I never personally broke into the high end of the showing world, I did train and exercise all kinds of horses for riders who would go on to show as well as coaching the riders during show times.
