I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

Riding instructor qualification (International level I) from Finnish Equine College (2014), includes training young horses.
Hard working 26 years old equestrian professional. Qualified riding instructor. Stable manager for olympic rider Kyra Kyrklund - 3 years. Young horse trainer on a dressage stud - 1 year. Rider/instructor in Oldencraig Equestrian centre - 1 year.
I graduated from the Finnish Ypäjä Equine College in October 2014 as a Riding Instructor level 1. As part of my college course I came in England to Snowhill Farm to do work experience for 6 months, where after graduating from college Kyra Kyrklund offered me the position of the stable manager. My main responsibilities in this role was to organize the daily routine on a busy dressage yard and ride some of our horses every day. I have been taught by great riders and trainers, Kyra Kyrklund and Richard White. I left my job in the spring of 2017 and I started working as a young horse rider/groom in a dressage stud. In the summer I took a few youngsters to their first dressage competitions in Prelim / Novice level. In the last year I have been working in Oldencraig Equestrian Centre as a rider and instructor. I have been in charge of exercising 6-8 horses daily and developing them to a higher level. I have also been teaching a lot of different customers from beginners to advanced riders.
3 years of work experience as a stable manager / assistant rider for Kyra Kyrklund. Riding and training with Olympic level horses and worlds best trainers. Experienced with piaffe, passage, one-tempi changes etc. Manager experience and able to take sole charge. Training of young horses. A lot of teaching experience from top level riding school.
I can ride horses in a good balance and collection, and I can train horses professionally and patiently. I have been riding many Grand Prix level horses and practiced piaffe, pirouettes and flying changes. I have also done jumping and eventing before I focused on dressage a couple of years ago.
As a part of my Riding Instructor training in Finland I competed up to Medium level in dressage (2014) and 110cm in show jumping. While working at Kyras I trained Grand Prix level movements daily with her experienced horses but unfortunately she is the only one competing her horses so I wasn't able to compete at the time. In the last year I have been competing livery horses in Advanced level in Oldencraig Equestrian centre with good scores.
