I have ridden since the age of 4 and worked as a yard assistant from 2010 - 2015 at a riding stables and livery yard, before leaving for university. I have experience doing groom duties such as feeding, mucking-out, grooming, exercising horses, cleaning tack etc.
I assisted teaching in riding lessons and riding with the disabled, whilst also working on a program with Seeds for Change and working with clients with behavioural difficulties and overseeing yard duties and horse care.
In December 2020, I did work experience at a top Event yard in Gloucestershire handling horses at the top of their sport.
I have a particular interest in Eventing and Show Jumping and have a real drive and enjoyment for the sport.
