I run two shed that hold 32000 free range hens, my main duties are to the health and welfare of the birds and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness through out the site.
I worked in the north of Scotland at a trekking/breeding centre for highland ponies within this job I had to manage my time to get treks out on time and also adhere to the health and welfare of the ponies. I handled foals and broodmares and hacked out youngsters. I also taught children at saddle club once a week. I have completed a HNC Animal Care I owned my own horse for hacking and local competitions Worked at my local trekking centre as a trekking leader Volunteered/work experience at my local rural vets I use to house/animal sit for local people (horses, dogs, chickens)
