I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
Having returned from travelling abroad and working as a superyacht stewardess, I started at the University of Exeter in September 2019.
I have been riding for over 15 years and have volunteered at my local stables for many years, as well as taking care of friends horses and exercising them. Thus, I am a confident rider but more importantly enjoy spending the time caring for horses and being on a professional yard. I am always trying to share my love of the sport with others and have worked as a volunteer for disabled horse-riders, ensuring their disability is not a barrier to enjoying horses and allowing them to use animal care as therapy. I have also joined my university polo team this year which has provided an interesting insight into a different aspect of equestrianism and I have learnt a lot from the high standards of polo and further the high levels of fitness expected of the rider, as well as their sensitivity and understanding of the polo ponies.
I am keen to develop my skills as a rider and knowledge of caring for horses.
