I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

British Horse Society stage 1 Ukcc 2 Eagala Certification
BHS Stage 1
Level 1
At the moment I arrange and organise my own diary and accounts in order to assist private horse owners with the care and training of their horses. Disciplines I am involved in training for currently are dressage, driving and hunting.
Initially I trained and worked across several riding school establishments. Taking a team approach within a very busy and customer focused environment.
I moved towards the private sector and was given responsibility for the daily care and management of five coaching horses both at home and whilst abroad.
Working independently and under timescale pressures, I consistently and reliably kept fit the Hunt Masters horses and the driving horses whom competed at National level.
For providing Equine Assisted Learning programs I trained extensively in understanding equine behaviour in order to take full responsibility for ensuring that the horses were never placed under any undue stress, whilst maintaining the 'client led' ethos.
Dressage, hunting and EAL
Having groomed and competed most of my working life, has enabled me to develop in an experiential manner.
I am a self-motivated individual who understands the importance of being decisive and accountable in decision making. I am a lively, humorous person who can work at a fast pace, prioritise workloads and maintain accurate records. I believe that honesty and transparency, coupled with clear communication, make me a trustworthy individual.
Competing at Elem dressage at the moment, training at medium level. I have experience and a sound understanding of building fitness safely, for competition or hunting and can bring on and build youngsters education and confidence.
Groomed at National level
Competed at Regional level
I am familiar with being around showgrounds and can manage and organise entries, horses and riders if need be. I have a thorough understanding of how to care for horses whilst travelling and staying away from home and whilst abroad. (Have experience of ferry travel)
