I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
I have completed one equine-related course and got a certificate. The organization was tasting my basic riding skills and advanced knowledge of horses, their anatomy, grooming, riding, etc.
I have worked in a professional equestrian environment for a year in 2020 - 2021. I was assisting vets, farriers, dentists, and professional horse jumping and dressage riders. I started to ride when I was 8 years old. I would spend the whole summers living in a village with horses. That's why I am a natural when it comes to their behavior.
I feel confident healing basic kinds of wounds and infections. Also, have no problems with difficult horses.
I have worked with wild horses too in the south of Poland.
I have worked with foals, stallions, broodmares, sporthorses.
I am experienced leading a team from the other jobs, not connected with horses.
I am not quick at mucking out. But I am very good at keeping a tidy yard. I have very good organizational skills.
I have ridden many problem horses and young horses when I was still an active rider. I had a long break with riding so I forgot a lot of things.
I have some experience in starting a horse, however, I do not feel confident about it. It is mostly intuitional.
I have been a competition groom but I would prefer to live in a peaceful environment.
