A Marshall, VA based training and lesson stable has an open position for a farm/barn worker. Care for 10-15 horses. Duties include but are not limited to: chores which includes turn in/out, feed, water, grooming, blanketing, stall mucking, barn cleaning, administration of equine medication when applicable, and exercising and lunging of horses. Experience is needed with horses of different breeds and age. Experience with fence repair, operation of tractor and manure spreader, and maintaining indoor and outdoor riding arenas is preferred, but not required. We are looking for someone who is task oriented, self motivated, punctual, possesses communication skills, efficient, organized, friendly, and can provide references. Someone who is business oriented and will hold the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with clients and students. Minimum 4 years of experience required.
