The Assistant Instructor is responsible for our client’s success on meeting their equestrian goals. You will be leading our family, children, and adult clients down their journey, while mixing in fun and laughter for a good environment. While also closing potential new clients to join our program. The Assistant Trainer will provide feedback to the owner regarding client success and new client closing based on data and client feedback.
This is a highly active role, where trying new things is encouraged (not punished) and finding creative ways to reach our clients’ goals is critical to success.
- Manage clients regarding future vacation or missed lessons
- Meet Weekly and bi-weekly with Pablo to discuss strategic initiatives for Highland Park Stables + to discuss performance, - upcoming events, and any other needs for Highland Park Stables
- Create strategies that are updated quarterly used to grow your own sales skills and personal growth
- Build out charts that track your client acquisition
- Review lesson plans and new client charts for the next week and days to come
- Oversee lesson cadence and times (keep lessons running on time)
- Working with Pablo closely based on current workload and needs
- Working with Pablo on suggesting new processes for client success and relationship building
- Communicate with clients on an as needed basis
- Oversee lesson horse schedules and general health
- Take on new systems or processes being implemented
Requirements
- Proficient with client relationships and client success
- Able to handle extreme weather (heat, cold, etc.)
- Able to carry over 50 lbs
- Curiosity and a thinker
- Initiative is a MUST - this person likes to research in their free time how to get better at sales and how to better connect with people
- Ability to handle horses in an appropriate fashion
- Has a great sense of urgency
- Ability to create cutting edge results for our clients
- Strong written and verbal skills
- MUST be a people person. If you think horses are better than people this job isn’t for you.
- Proactive not reactive.
- Speed and clarity in communication (primarily in Slack)
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change.
