Special professional opportunity for talented and capable dressage trainer to develop Young P.R.E. Horses for Sale and Competition.

Applicants must be capable of training young horses in accordance with the dressage training scale and "over the back" through Grandprix. Competitive lifetime scores are required.

Trainer will be in charge of preparing a selection of young horses for competition and sale and will work in coordination with our sales department. We give our horses time to develop physically and mentally and place a high emphasis on quality.

Applicant must be comfortable training stallions and be capable of developing and successfully campaigning them from local recognized dressage shows to CDI's from Training level through GrandPrix.

Coves Darden Farm enjoys a peaceful environment and premium infrastructure including high end stable, ample turn out for all horses, covered arena with excellent footing, round pen and shady trails for light hill work and a change of scenery for horses.

Clinics in benefit of our in-house trainers continued education are arranged to support development of horse and rider as needed. No mucking and No feeding is required unless we are away at shows.

Work schedule is from Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Trainers are expected to be available on weekends for presentation of horses to clients or for participation in competition or clinics. Rest days are scheduled accordingly.

Trainer has the option to expand training business by taking on additional clients boarded at Coves Darden through a separate agreement.

Pay is weekly. The rate is negotiable depending on the capabilities of the Applicant. Direct Deposit is required. Earn additional 10% commission on sales when you bring the buyer.

Housing is located nearby. Brick house, 3 bedroom, 2 baths, kitchen, living room w/ fireplace. Fenced lots on one acre size lots with paddock and stall for one to two horses. Valued on rental market at $2,400/ month. Included as part of compensation.
