Special professional opportunity for talented and experienced dressage trainer to develop Young P.R.E. Horses for Competition and Sale. Applicants should be capable of training young horses to at least 4th level, preferably with experience training young horses through Grand prix. Trainer will be in charge of a selection of young horses at Coves Darden. Applicant must be comfortable training stallions, be experienced riding green broke horses and enjoy competing professionally at recognized shows. Experience starting horses is a plus. No mucking and No feeding is required in this position. This position offers extensive opportunity and backing to grow as a rider training breeding stallions through Grand Prix. Young sales horses are competed extensively throughout region 1 and 3 nationally. Owner backing for capable trainers to compete internationally. Opportunity to compete in Florida during the winter season at owner discretion. For the development of our young horses, value is placed on working over the back with correct progression up the training scale. Providing a rounded education for the young horses is essential for their mental and physical education as well as their preparation for sale. Trainer will work closely with owner who heads the sales department at Coves Darden. Clinics in benefit of our in-house trainers continued education are arranged regularly. Regular work days are from Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with 30 min break. Weekend work is only required for shows, presentation of horses to clients or clinics. The following Monday off when working at least one full day over the weekend. Pay is weekly. The rate is negotiable depending on the capabilities of the Applicant. Direct Deposit is required.

Housing nearby is optional when available. Brick house, 3 bedroom, 2 baths, kitchen, living room w/ fireplace. Semi furnished optional. Some lots have paddock and stall for one to two horses. Fenced properties on approximately one acre lots.

We offer stud service to breeders around the world and produce an average of 20 foals per year which we train, and prepare for sale in Dressage. Our horses have competed successfully at the National Dressage Finals every year, at Devon and lamplight both in the young horse and developing Grand Prix as well as in Europe at the international level.
