ISO a strong, reliable person whose responsibilities will include, but are not limited to feed/turnout/clean 14 stalls a day with the possibility of expanding to 20 stalls. Candidate is required to start at 7 am. Each horse has a stall, dry lot and two water buckets that are to be cleaned daily. We use fine bag shavings and all stalls have either stalls mattresses or stall mats, water buckets have waterers above each bucket, so there is no need to drag hoses around. We do our best to make a physical job as efficient as possible but you must be able to lift 50 lbs to get the job done.
The ideal candidate will have horse experience and be able to lead a variety of horses including young warmbloods to and from turnout and well as assist in basic grooming and bathing as time allows.
The position is 6 days a week and salary is commensurate with experience.

Navillus Dressage is a 14 stall training facility located 15 minutes from Tryon International Equestrian Center in western North Carolina. We focus on the correct and classical training of the dressage horse. Our emphasis is on the education of both horses and riders. We excel in creating happy healthy equine partners. All riding age horses and their owners are in full 5 day a week training program. In the show season we compete at the Tryon International Equestrian Center and at local schooling shows.
Our facility is situated on 46 acres with rolling hills and trails for hacking out. We boast a full size covered arena with GGT footing and mirrors for year round training. Each of our stalls is equipped with a dry lot, fans, waterers and stall mattresses for the horses care and comfort. The barn is equipped with cameras, hot & cold wash rack and luxurious tack room.
