We are currently looking to employ a new farrier and/or farrier helper, to work in Carroll County, MD (and the surrounding area).
We are looking for someone with an interest in horseshoeing, who either plans to go to farrier school, is in training, or has recently finished their training and wishes to work with someone before starting their own business.
This is a primarily part-time opportunity, with the possibility of full-time employment at the barn. Pay to reflect experience (min. wage is $11.75).

Full Moon Farm is a family-owned and operated full-service equine facility, located in beautiful Carroll County, Maryland on 80+ acres, just a short drive from Baltimore and Washington, DC. We are home to FMF Equestrian, a training facility owned and operated by a 5* eventer and a Grand Prix dressage rider.
We have an indoor arena (60′ x 240′) and two outdoor arenas (80′ x 160′ and 240′ x 400′). We also have two cross country courses– an enclosed Starter course and a larger course featuring a water complex, bank complex, ditches, trakheners, and obstacles from Intro through Training level.
