CH Equine, a busy Classical Dressage training facility in Brighton, Colorado, is seeking a dependable and hardworking full-time assistant trainer/groom to join our team Tuesday through Saturday.
Responsibilities include: • Grooming and tacking horses (typically 7-10 horses per day) • Clean/Tidy up tack rooms, lounge and grooming bays • Lunging, riding and training horses • Keep tack clean and organized • Blanketing • Preparing daily grain • Dragging and watering arena as needed • Helping full-time care workers as needed • General assistance around the barn • Previous teaching experience is a plus
This is not a basic mucking/feeding position—we are looking for someone who is motivated, takes direction well, and is willing to work in all weather conditions.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and confident in handling horses in a professional training environment.
We are looking for local candidates; housing is not available. Must be legal to work in the US.

Requirements
Experience handling and tacking horses. General knowledge of horse care and behavior, including signs of illness, injury, etc. Ability to drive farm vehicles, including a tractor, side by side, John Deer Lawn Tractor, etc. Ability to work in all weather conditions. You MUST be punctual to work. Dependable and able to work independently and efficiently is a must.
