We are looking for a well organised Home Groom who would like to join a small but well run professional yard, who is able to keep everything running smoothly whilst we are away competing.
The ideal candidate will come with the following experience to help the team grow.
- Be a great at working in a team
- Have excellent organisational skills
- Excellent time keeping
- Used to keeping records plus able to implement data when required
- Experience in dealing with vet, farrier, dentist, and keep on-going records.
- Apply daily running of yard.
- Can clip, plait, groom, tack clean, muck out, and able to lunge
- Help pack and unpack wagons for shows
- Assist with horse rotas daily, weekly, monthly, annually.
Competition yard experience preferred.
Riding optional and not a necessity.
Requirements
Must be able to KEEP organised and motivated and implement good work practice of both personnel and horses
Must have excellent organisational skills, have high standards of turnout, be self motivated.
Ability to plan ahead.
Keep accommodation tidy and up to standard.
