Spelling farm assistant required for thoroughbred property in Theresa Park NSW (near Camden). Successful applicant would assist with the care of horses on the property, applicants must be confident to handle young horses. General daily care such as feeding, rugging, grooming and health checks would be required. In addition weekly pictures and reports are prepared and sent to owners. Treatment and care of horses recovering from injury or undergoing rehabilitation would also be required. General property maintenance is required. Property is approximately 100 acres made up of large group paddocks, smaller individual paddock/yards, stable block and walker. There is flexibility and this position could be part time or full time. Successful applicant must be self motivated and able to work unsupervised, initiative and attention to detail is a must. Onsite accommodation available if needed. Applicants musy have visa to work in Australia and already be in Australia.
