We have a large breeding, training, and sale farm situated on 200 acres, nearly all of which is pastured. Our 30 stall barn is filled with show horses during the day, and our large indoor arena allows riding in all weather. We breed Oldenburgs, but also buy horses from kill pens and bottom feeder auctions, then turn them into quality show horses. We show and foxhunt at a combination of schooling and rated events, hunter, jumper, and dressage shows, as we bring a lot of young horses along. We believe in using gentle methods in our training, and that trust is the building block to everything. Each horse has an individualized training program, and there is no such thing as only one method that works. Something that works well for us and most horses just may not fit others, and it is our job to adapt to the horse’s needs to ensure they can excel. We believe that horses should get to live predominately outside with other horses and never be kept away from grass or hay.
