.Western NC equestrian community is looking to hire an experienced barn manager to care for 9 horses from June 30-Oct 31, 2024. Get out of the summer heat and enjoy the cool mountain weather. Duties include: Feeding Turnout Stall cleaning Handle moving of hay and shavings General barn maintenance Must be knowledgeable enough to recognize if a horse is colicing or sick in any way. There will be other opportunities within the same community with horse owners that have private barns. Included is a free one bedroom efficiency apartment above the main equestrian center with electric, water and internet provided. The barn manager is entitled to bring a pet. References, background check and drug test will be required for the safety of the community. Must be non smoker, speak fluent English and must have drivers license and vehicle.
