Spalding Common Farm is a 12 acre estate overlooking the town common of Amherst NH. A wooded trail rounds the property with the front half being pasture. Aside from the owner's residence, there is a separate facility manager's apartment, modern stables and a modern indoor arena. The property was purchased in August 2023 and in its first 3 months, over $250k has been spent on improvements and new equipment. Another $250k is budgeted for the next 6 months. All costs have been associated with improving efficiency, management, safety and comfort for employees and riders. The farm will take delivery of the owner's horses December 1 2023 and the stables will accommodate up to 9 horses making this a small, high end operation. The estate is not intended for client boarding or training but rather for family and friends. The primary disciplines are Western pleasure riding and English 3 phase eventing. The farm currently employs a part time Horse Manager and part time Assistant Barn Manager.
