Wyonegonic Camps, founded in 1902 and is one of the oldest camps for girls in the US. We are proud to have preserved our camp traditions in a way that makes them unique and special. Campers live in rustic lakeside cabins with counselors in three units: each unit forms its own close-knit community that is small enough to kindle deep friendships. 700 acres of pine forest and 2 miles of shoreline offer a spectacular and private location on Moose Pond in Maine. We offer a traditional camp activity program that features waterfront and wilderness trips as well as traditional camp activities and horseback riding. Our riding and horsemanship program has a 11 horse barn, turnouts, outdoor riding arena and miles of forested trails and farm fields. All staff contribute to the happiness and confidence of each camper as they act as positive role models, supervise, teach, and encourage. It is important to Wyonegonic that all staff grow personally and professionally. Room and board included.
