Sandgrueb-Stiftung is a private Swiss foundation dedicated to animal welfare and in particular the care and housing of old and/or chronically ill equids (approx. 30). With its goal to act as a partner between research institutions, animal welfare organizations, and society, one of its roles is to support research activities and projects in relation to the wellbeing of horses.
