We have recently moved our team of eventers to Tekonini Farm - Hawkes Bay. Based on 700 acres with river access, we are setting up facilities whilst competing our team of horses (from 4yos to 4*) in eventing and SJing. We are looking for a capable person who loves working with horses and being in a rural setting. We would prefer someone who is a keen and able rider as many opportunities there, but at a base level, farm riding is a big part of the job and competition grooming experience is essential. We are primarily an eventing yard but there are also youngstock, cattle and sheep on the farm. As we are still setting up, a person who is keen for or has fencing experience would be appreciated! Own living quarters and car is included.
