I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
14 years of actual training experience starting on the West coast then continuing to the East coast. 6 years head trainer/ sales
My duties include managing 3 other employees, exercising and training 30-50 horses a day. Working with clients, feeding and medical attention.
I currently work in a facility that handles over 600 horses of all disciplines a year. My primary skill is to make every horse of every discipline look and ride well enough to be purchased. Having ridden over 1200 different horses has given me a very unique kind of equine skills. I am not a backyard rider, I am a professional. I have ridden everything from jumpers to ex rodeo broncs. I have trained everything from trail horses to racehorses.
Breaking, correcting horses with dangerous habits, reining, western pleasure, jumping, multi-tasking, training, instruction
Sales, training western and English all disciplines.
I have shown minimally myself, but many of the horses I have trained have gone on to successful show careers. I generally ride show horses but have found minimal time to show. I guess you could say I have always been more in the background. I would be very open to showing in the future
