I am a 20 year USEF/USHJA professional with a long resume of training riders and horses from the most beginner local level to showing at the biggest A shows and taking clients to Florida and qualifying for indoors. I’ve done everything from breaking untouched 10 year old horses for pleasure to training winners of state medal finals and ribbon winners at USEF pony finals and Indoors. Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)

I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.

I have worked as a groom since completing college. I have done all general yard duties and also exercising, clipping, bandaging, grooming ect. I have also ran my own livery service where i was responsible for the running of my own livery service.
I have management experience, starting and backing youngsters, teaching, medical care of a lame/sick/injured horse, racing national hunt, bandaging ect, lunging, longreigning, exercising and schooling correctly, sole charge of a livery yard, rehabilitating ex racehorses and all general yard duties.
I have owned and worked with horses most of my life. I studied a national diploma in equine management at writtle college that i passed with a distinction, of which i used to go onto work with paul hayler at his dressage yard in essex. I then moved to london and got a job at vale farm where i took sole charge of 12 horses doing everything from mucking out and general yard duties to exercising, teaching and starting up youngsters.
I am a confident competent rider and can ride a range of horses from fizzy fit thoroughbreds to riding school ponies. I can school correctly and effectively and also school over fences. I have a passion for thoroughbreds and have done a lot of rehabilitation with ex race horses straight from the track so i love a challenge. Im a sensitive rider and take calm and fair approach to the horse that im working with firm and fair works well for me.
I have done many local shows, fun rides ect Have competed up to medium level dressage but this was quite some time ago. I lost my horse last year that I was hoping to compete in dressage but am currently working on my 2 girls whom i hope to do a bit of everything with in the future.
