Pine Ridge Dude Ranch, located in Ulster County NY, is a 150-acre resort dude ranch offering an authentic western riding experience for our guests. We are looking for an Assistant Barn Manager with a passion and extensive knowledge of horses in a western trail riding environment. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter that is capable of being a leader in the organization.
I am currently maintaining my small ranch. I ride english, western and in hand classes. Stalls, grooming, bathing, braiding, ect. Haul horses when needed.
Been riding since I was 4 years old. Started with english riding and jumping. Later in life I started western riding. Have gone and participated in many horse shows over the course of my riding career. Have experience hauling different types of trailers.
I have done everything from designing barn layouts, ordering supplies, cleaning stalls, raising and training horses. I have showed all my life mostly English and have been showing western since about 2007. There is no job I won’t do and there isn’t anything that I would mind learning. I believe that with horses as with life there are always things to learn. I have worked for training under many different trainers and have the ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Mostly working with different trainers. Worked at a resort as a wrangler for a couple of months leading trail rides. Learned how to harness and drive a team of horses for mainly for a stage coach ride.
