Riding, from youngsters to FEI Grand Prix horses; all barn managing duties including staff, horse, and farm management; complete care of the horse from plaiting to vet visits etc; teaching kids and adults from beginner to low amateurs.
I have been riding since I was six months old. Horses are very much a family endeavor and one that I have never moved away from. As a junior I competed up and down the east coast on the "AA" circuit riding my own horse and catch riding as much as possible. While doing so, I attended boarding school where I competed on the highschool IHSA team, finishing off my four year involvment as Captain of the team. I continued participating in the IHSA through college where I was captain at both universities I attended. Along with riding on the college teams, I taught kids from walk trot to junior jumpers at a local barn. After college, I have been fortunate to have several jobs that have continued to let me travel both the US circuit and the international circuit as a rider, groom, and barn manager. This past year I have been an FEI groom on the LGCT throughout Europe. Along with showing full time, I have 15 years of foxhunting experience and some flattrack education.
