Duties of Current Occupation
I have done just about everything. I've ran my own 30-horse farm, which I still own but lease out! I have an income already but looking to get a job in the foxhunting world. I'm mature, hard working, and drama-free!
Equine Work Experience
I've literally done nothing but horses since I could walk! I'm not afraid of any type of work.
Vet Care: wounds (clean, bandage, suture), IV and IM shots, running fluids, putting in IV catheters, can do vet care on foals (tubing, IVs, running plasma, etc)
Training: halter breaking, starting under saddle, riding out, starting over fences, showing in hunters/jumpers, dressage, hunt horses.
Breeding: Experienced handling stallions, broodmares, foals, foaling, etc! Worked at breeding farm foaling out 25+ mares per year.
I've done a TON of teaching but do not like teaching small children.
I have owned and managed my own, very successful, 30 horse farm (show hunters, jumpers, and riding school) and got sick of it and am now leasing out my farm, looking to work for someone else.
Starting horses under saddle, training, hunting, barn work, etc! I'm very handy. I can do fencing, am proficient with power tools including chain saws, building jumps, roofing, and plumbing. I'm happy to work sun up to sun down 7 days per week and have other sources of income.
Type of Ride Work
Prefer fox hunting/trail riding but love starting colts as well! I have trained and competed jumpers through Grand Prix, hunters, dressage horses, reiners, and have barrel raced all over the country. Looking to settle down as a hunt rider/groom.
I've competed all over the country in multiple disciplines. I've hunted with several different hunts both in the field, leading fields, and whipping-in. I'm happy to learn how you would like me to do the job! Very teachable and trainable.
