Currently, I am responsible for two hunt horses in the Purcelville, VA area. I ride the horses twice a week (includes hacking, jumping stadium and cross country, and dressage work), maintain their grooming (clipping, manes), and ready them for meets
I have worked in many facets of the equine industry, including: western, thoroughbred racing, breeding facilities, hunter show barns, Grand Prix dressage, eventing, breaking and dtarting young horses, and classical equitation. I spent a semester in the UK obtaining my BHS certification and was able to hold an equine job all through college. I have also been a horse owner most of my life. I am efficient at schooling horses through 2nd level dressage and show-jumping 3'9". I have spent the past six months working at a afarm that starts young horses and horses with behavioral issues. I love to teach, and I have also had some experience coaching at competitions. I was captain of my university's Dressage team and held partial responsibility for event planning, teaching lessons, and coaching.

My primary area of expertise is dressage, but I also love show-jumping and cross country. I have had some experience with the hunters. I have not had as much experience with cross country as I would like, but I have not had the horses available to me and would love to get more experience with eventing. I am comfortable jumping fences at Novice level.
