i began riding at the age of ten at a hunter/jumper barn. At the age of 12 my family moved to texas where i continued to ride hunter jumper for the next several yeares, showing in the local H/J circuit to several year end championshipsnin the jumper ring. At 16 i got an introduction to eventing and foxhunting. during this time i worked part time as a groom/rider at a gypsey vanner breeding facility. I evented through training level. At 17 i began working as a rider and teaching beginner lessons at the barn i boarded at. at 19 i spent 2 years as a working student at BRC stables in VA. the main focus was on retraining OTTB's. i also learned a vast amount if barn management here. at 21 i moved back to Tx. here i kept a small client base of young horses and foxhunters, and continued to groom at shows for other area trainers as well as show a few of the horse i rode. for the last year i have been prepping and grooming for several area hunter breeders.
