I started riding when I was 9 in Dubai. When I was 11 we moved back to the UK and I continued riding. I began to work for my lessons, everything from moving horses in and out of the pastures, grooming and tacking up for lessons and feeding. Around 13 I was allowed to start taking some of the horses out for hacks off the grounds and began to lead the hack lessons as required.
At age 16 my parents sent me to Canada for a summer to work at a eventing stable there. Whilst there over the summer I did everything from cleaning stalls, moving of horses to and from pastures, helping tack up when necessary, helping with lessons if required (movement of jumps and other necesseties). I was also lucky enough to be able to ride in some of the eventing competitions whilst here, assist with the summer camps and help out with the hunt and hunt dogs.
When I was 21 I moved to Texas and began riding western for pleasure until I had my children
