I am able to provide horse care, stall cleaning, feeding, watering, blanketing, turnout. Along with long lining and in hand working if desired.
I have been around horses my whole life. I began formal lessons at age 11, after passing riding and written tests for skills I was able to lease and show lesson horses. I competed in dreessage through traning level at local and regional shows. I took two years off to focus on school but still owned two ponies. In college I have continues my training, participating on Murray State Universities Dressage Team and at a local farm where I have purchased a 2 year old to begin training. I have also ridden horses in a variety of training levels from, green broke to grand prix, with a variety of breeds. I have experience caring for between 4- 25 horses at a time in stall and on partial turn out. Feeding, basic farrier skills, first aid, wokring with children at summer camps leading horses.
I have focused on classical dressage, showing up to training level but schooling higher level movements (piafe, passage, tempi, lead change, counter canter). I am able to jump, ride bareback in all gaits, ride western, obstacles; all from a variety of experiences I had while assisting at summer camps.
