I have spent the last 14 years traveling the Hunter-Jumper show circuits on the eastern seaboard, including West Palm Beach and Vermont Summer Festival. I have experience in all aspects of property management and show management and infrastructure.
Equine Work Experience
Very familiar with basic duties such as feed, turnout, barn duties. I enjoy the company and respect the personality differences in the horses, as I have been around them in one form or fashion for the better part of my life. I went on a horsepacking expedition for 35 days in the Wind River Range in WY and had to care for my own horse and a packhorse in the wilderness, so western would be my strongpoint from a riding standpoint. I also understand the necessity of round the clock attention and routine (night check, ect.) in order to maintain happy, healthy animals.
I have an Australian Shep who grew up on the show circuit and is familiar with the equine lifestlyle.
On premise housing would be preferable.
Show ring installation and upkeep, plumbing and electrical repair or installation, carpentry, jump building and upkeep, heavy equipment operation and upkeep, PA installation, stall cleaning and repair, portable stall setup and teardown, large tent setup and teardown, ect.
