I have a 7 year old mare I would like to either breed or bring to a facility to train. I haven't had a place to put her yet with school and working at the moment but hope to find a home for her soon so she can be broken and bring others joy.
I am a student and Clemson and am looking into traveling across the US to work with some very wonderful horses and work them along with others and help others learn to love horses like I do. I am contemplating taking a few years off of school to travel and work with people and horses so if you are looking for someone to take to several shows and assist I am your gal! I would be able to start the 2nd or third week in May don't hesitate to call me or text me! 8649402256
Duties of Current Occupation
I am currently a server at a restaurant and am a very sociable young lady. I have worked on a farm most of my life at a barn where I was given green horses and was allowed the opportunity to create something of them alongside training & barn duties.
Equine Work Experience
My equine experience specifically includes working alongside farriers, braiding horses, grooming, and also giving proper medications and special feed. I have extensive knowledge in western tack and attire, and am 100% for helmets and proper safety when it comes to allowing beginners around these animals. I have spent countless hours on horseback long hot summer days to help students get their disciplines just right and am very encouraging and patient when it comes to the horses as well as the riders.
I specialize in the western discipline. Pleasure, ranch riding, reining, horsemanship, showmanship, barrels, and poles. I have also ventured out to English, cross rails, trails, and versatility. I have worked on a farm since I was 11 from volunteering and feeding and watering to running barns, teaching lessons to beginners, and doing parties. I have went to shows as a groom and a coach and kept watch over 20+ horses at a time.
I have shown 4H and IEA all throughout my high school career. I have done several shows around Clemson throughout the years and have placed in all shows. I have spent more time behind the scenes training green horses for riders and tuning up other riders horses than I have my own.
