Degree in Animal Sciences and minor in Agricultural business. Lots of industry experience. New York State Driver's License. US Passport.
I have been riding for 18 years. I grew up in the hunter/jumper world--showing, riding and doing farm chores. I have spent my life working in the industry. Recently I've branched out to the eventing world and have absolutely fallen in love with eventing and dressage. I have done stable hand work, grooming, free lance horse training, schooling, worked as a riding instructor, and a farm manager. I also have had experience as a working student. My goal is to level up in eventing.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture (Animal Sciences) with a minor in Agricultural Business from The Ohio State University. Currently i hold a seasonal (summer only) position teaching/training/trail guiding at a private riding school. I am in Cape Cod, Massachusetts right now. I am willing to go anywhere in the USA or internationally for the right position for the fall, winter and spring.
I am most interested in a position which will allow for riding, managing and/or teaching students. I am desperate to learn anything and everything I can and would love to find a place where I can work under another trainer to build on my skills. My experience includes: Eventing Dressage Hunters Jumpers Some pony medal/equitation classes Catch Riding/Schooling horses Longeing Riding School Work Showing Flat work In hand work Farm Management Trail guiding Summer camps
