I am a competing member of the SUNY Cobleskill Hunt Seat team and have been doing Endurance Racing and Competetive Trail Riding for 12 years. I have owned horses my entire life, and therefore have been doing horse chores for my entire life. These chores include feeding, watering, mucking stalls, cleaning aisles, cutting/ baling/ stacking hay, aiding to injuries, treating illnesses, holding for the vet or farrier, grooming, clipping, turning out and bringing in, and exercising. I have had a job as a "stable hand" at two seperate hunt seat facilities, both of which I left due to school. I also had the opportunity to work the "Mare and Weanling" sale in the fall of 2017, at Fasig Tipton in Saratoga.
I am currently pursuing an Agricultural Business Management Degree at SUNY Cobleskill; my anticipated time of graduation is May 2019. I can drive a tractor, both in tow and not, I can lift 100 lbs., and I can work in any weather. I am very well organized and a very fast learner. I have no problem listening to directions and then doing what is asked of me. I am also not afraid of criticism.
I have competed on the flat and over fences in the past, at county fairs and barn events. For the SUNY Cobleskill Hunt Seat team I compete on the flat. I have 1,005 recorded competition miles with the Eastern Competitive Trail Ride Association and 640 with the American Endurance Ride Conference.
